PGA Scramble – Sunday 25th September 2022
26 September 2022Following the storms and rain on Saturday, Sunday dawned a fine and sunny day for the annual PGA Scramble. The were 180 golfers competing to earn 3 spots in the 2022 Regional Final which is scheduled to be played at Kooindah Waters on Friday 7th October. The winner of the Reginal Final will compete in the National Final later in 2022.
In the morning field, there were 108 players who competed in ideal conditions which was highlighted by the low scoring. The winning team of Jack Milne, Ian Fennell, Cooper Fullerton and Lochie Allison scored 52.25 while the runner up team of Judy Hamilton, Dave Allomes, James Swanson and James Armstrong scored 52.875. In the afternoon field, there were 72 players and the winning team was Geoff Leonard, Tyson May, Shane and Matt Shepherd who scored 56.
