I have read the SBGC Strategic Plan and I feel that it is misnamed.
It should read the SBGC Environmental Statement plus the SBGC Occupational Health and Safety Statement. It is a very useful document and definately should exist. If we are ever sued by either a disgruntled employee or a neighbour with a problem then this statement will be very handy in defence.
The only item that I fell relates as “A Plan” and was of any consequence is that you have to do something with the land behind the twefth tee on the corner.
I would like to see a document with some solid plans accompanied by estimates of times and costs involved as to what you as a commitee intend for the future of our club.
I can well undersatnd the NIL comments so far recieved on this plan as there is really nothing to comment upon as it is a statement rather than a plan.

I’m impressed, I must say. Rarely do I encounter a blog that’s both educative and entertaining, and without a doubt, you’ve hit the nail on the head. The problem is something which not enough people are speaking intelligently about. Now i’m very happy I found this during my hunt for something regarding this.

After not golfing for 5 mntohs during the Mich winter, having gone only once to an indoor range back in January, I played my first round of golf last week .. expecting a rusty first round, but instead had one of my best ball-striking rounds ever. EVERY drive was solid and out there ; all but one were in the fairway ..the biggest chunk of credit goes to the TS Pro five-iron I bought last summer ..yes, I put in the practice time but, the TS made it pay off. Love it!

Hi Andrew,

I notice you mention “cosmetic” work on the 4th hole dam. It seems to my uneducated eyes that the dam walls have deteriorated substantially over the years. Is there any plan to correct this?
